Annales Cambriae, si legge che:
"This reformulation of Medraut is Geoffrey’s development. It may well have been inspired by an ironic twist given the story by the author: Old English
Medren means ‘mother’s kin’, and this may have given him the idea. The notion was given further nuance in the later Middle Ages, when
Medraut was reinvented as the product of incest committed by the unwitting Arthur and his scheming sister."
Certo, manco spiega niente... però, dai, il mosaico si fa sempre più affascinante
